About the group

This select group of advanced singers ages 13-18 chosen by audition will focus on challenging arrangements of contemporary songs.

[Note: Students must be studying privately with a Conservatory Artist-Faculty member to participate in this class.]

To be considered for the 2017-18 season, submit an application by Sept. 1.

PLEASE NOTE:
  • Students must be age 13-18
  • Students must be studying privately at the Conservatory in order to participate in this group.
  • Application requires submission of a video recording of the student singing a cappella from memory one song — or a portion of a song — at least 1 minute and not to exceed 3 minutes. Upload the video to YouTube, and make it "Unlisted." Then copy the link for pasting into the OMAHAcappella application.
  • Audition song should be either a musical theater or pop song.

Did you know you don't need to be enrolled in private lessons at the Conservatory in order to take many of our group classes? IT'S TRUE! With the exception of just a couple of our more advanced classes... As long as you're studying your instrument somewhere — and pay the one-time registration fee — you're welcome.
