Omaha Conservatory of Music is an ideal place for a student who is exceptional for any reason. OCM welcomes gifted students, students on the Autism Spectrum, ADD/ADHD, Down Syndrome and other types of conditions that affect learning. Guided by the principles of Autism Speaks’ “Leading the Way” thought leadership document, OCM is an inclusive community; we welcome students who desire an educational experience where individuality is valued and celebrated.
If you are comfortable sharing that you or your child has a diagnosed developmental or neurodiverse condition, please let us know when you begin registration as we can work to pair your student with an Artist-Faculty member that is well-matched for your student.
OCM’s enrollment forms include an option to disclose medical conditions of which you would like to make OCM Artist-Faculty and staff members aware.
