July 17-24, 2021 • Formerly known as OCMI, this weeklong immersive summer music camp is for strings, piano, and voice students age 9-18. Grow your musicianship and forge musical bonds with your peers in a supportive and dynamic environment!

Piano Day

FEB 27, 2021 • A full day of learning for Conservatory piano students! Class topics include performance, stage presence, practice tips, memorizing, music history, rhythm, and more! Students will be placed in groups based on their experience level. All classes will take place in large classrooms where distancing is possible, and masks are required. Then, join us for a concert featuring guest-artist Elizabeth Borowsky​ at 7PM! Sponsored by Omaha Steaks!

OMAHA CONSERVATORY SUZUKI INSTITUTE

July 22-30, 2021 • Omaha Conservatory of Music is proud to present our first annual Suzuki Institute, sanctioned by the Suzuki Association of the Americas. Join us for a 5-day immersive experience with top-notch Suzuki Teachers. Individual lessons or master class lessons may be added separately. Students will participate in Play-Downs and a special final performance on Friday July 30 at 7:00PM.

String Sprouts was founded in 2013 by the Omaha Conservatory of Music. This revolutionary music education program, funded by generous individuals, foundations, and grants, aims to change the lives of children in underserved areas by providing them with high-quality violin, viola and cello instruction at no cost to caregivers.

Theory Tidbits

Theory Tidbits is a free online classroom for Conservatory students to participate and learn about music history with their peers throughout the academic year. Tidbits includes 12 weeks of lessons posted in the class each semester as well as videos, readings, and other fun activities.
